I created this website so I would be free to express my thoughts, feelings, desires, disappointments, and so on. I’m not a computer program. I’m a real person. I’m a very unique person, and some (probably most) people view me as inappropriate, rude, vulgar, and more of those same, lovely characteristics.
My writings and my poems are my own words. My pictures and my drawings, and my sculptures are my own artwork. I am who I am, and I’m happy with me. I have fun in my head, and I have fun in life. I’m a rather normal person leading a rather normal life. Sure, I face trials and tribulations, but I deal with them to the best of my ability, and I sometimes express them in poems. For some odd reason I find comfort in words that rhyme.
Everyone in the world is entitled to their own thoughts, feelings, and opinions, and they’re free to express them in any which way that suits them best. As Americans, we have been blessed with the freedom of speech, but we also have the right to choose what or who we decide to listen to.
This site is me. If you don’t like it, close the tab now. I won’t be offended #1 because I don’t check the details of who visits the site, for how long, etc. and #2 I’d be proud of you for using your right to choose. This site can be fun, funny, and uplifting, but it can also be dark, disturbing, and downright offensive to some. This site is my life as I experience it.
I was given a voice, and I built a platform in which to use it. Might my words haunt me in the future? They might, but I doubt it. When searching for a job in the past, I added a log-in feature, so regular MurphyMeadow.com visitors simply had to request a username, which allowed me to “screen” potential employers. I can temporarily disable the site, if I need to. As for Facebook and other social media platforms, I can temporarily disable that, and also set my posts to only my friends.
On that note, I hope you enjoy my sense of humor, my warped thoughts, and my creative projects.
I wish peace for your future.
I hope you make peace with your past.
May we each find our own peace from within.
By the way, I've added a new feature, so you lucky folks can follow me on Facebook! Just click "Follow Me" button below. Lucky, lucky you!
Another way-cool feature I've added is your opportunity to enjoy my music playlist on Spotify!
